Wendy Marks Woodwind Tuition, Freeland, Nr Witney, Oxfordshire
Wendy as a Teacher
Wendy has many years of teaching experience, working both with individuals and groups, adults and children. She has taught flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon all up to Grade 8 standard, and is currently offering tuition on any of those woodwind instruments and also on the recorder. With her vast experience of taking Wind Bands, orchestras, recorder ensembles, chamber groups and choirs during her time working with both Wiltshire and then Oxfordshire County Councils, she is pleased to be now taking her own chamber orchestra and wind band in her village of Freeland. In addition to orchestral woodwind tuition, Wendy specialises on the recorder and has also enjoyed many years of taking Pre-school music lessons. She has many past pupils who have gone into the music profession either as a performer or a teacher, and has over 800 pupil exam passes to her credit.
Wendy also regularly accompanies a youth choir and finds it extremely useful to be able to play the piano for her pupils in their concerts and exams, as well as each week in their lessons.
